Com a definição do campeão da Copa Verde, o Anápolis está classificado para Copa do Brasil do ano que vem. Isso porque, o título inédito conquistado pelo Goiás na noite desta quarta-feira (31), abriu a oportunidade para que mais um time goiano esteja presente no torneio nacional em 2024. Modificações da Confederação Brasileira de Futebol
A saber, a CBF anunciou uma mudança nos critérios de classificação para a competição em dezembro do ano passado. Portanto, a posição do ranking não preencherá mais as vagas, mas, sim, elas procederão quase totalmente das competições estaduais.
Desse modo, com exceção das 12 equipes que entrarão na disputa já na terceira fase da Copa do Brasil, as demais serão definidas a partir do novo critério. Vale ressaltar que o campeão da Copa Verde, os representantes brasileiros na Libertadores, o vencedor da Série B e os campeões da Copa do Nordeste referentes a 2023 têm vaga garantida no torneio.
Contudo, a CBF ainda utilizará o ranking para definir quantas vagas cada federação terá direito a distribuir nos estaduais. As duas melhores colocadas terão direito a seis vagas, do 3º ao 5º lugar terão cinco, do 6º ao 14º são três, e do 15º ao 27º mais duas por estado.
Assim, federações com direito a três vagas deverão destinar as duas primeiras ao campeão e vice do estadual. Já a terceira, ficará a critério de cada organização. Caso haja mais vagas no estado, é obrigatório a distribuição de três espaços via campeonato regional.
Anápolis retorna ao cenário nacional após jejum
O Galo está de volta na disputa da Copa do Brasil em 2024. O Tricolor da Boa Vista volta a disputar uma competição nacional após sete anos sem participar do torneio. Logo, a última participação do Anápolis foi em 2017, quando foi eliminado pelo Bragantino ainda na primeira fase. Portanto, o Galo está confirmado e jogará também a Série D e o estadual no calendário do ano que vem.
Além do clube, mais três times goianos estão garantidos na próxima edição do campeonato mais democrático do Brasil: Atlético-GO, campeão do Goianão, Goiás e Aparecidense, terceira colocada. Dessa maneira, com o título vencido pelo Esmeraldino, abriu-se mais uma vaga para o 4º colocado do estadual, preenchida pelo Anápolis.
Por fim, resta ainda uma chance a fim de que Crac e Vila Nova também consigam se classificar. Para que o time de Catalão seja contemplado, basta que o Dragão vença a Série B. Já o Tigrão depende só de si e fica com a vaga caso seja campeão da segundona em 2023.
