Na noite desta segunda-feira (8), o Atlético-GO recebeu o Londrina pela 5ª rodada da Série B no Estádio Antônio Accioly. Assim, Renato e Rodrigo Soares marcaram para o Dragão e Caio Mancha diminuiu para o Tubarão. 1º Tempo
A torcida do Atlético-GO puxou a equipe que começou a etapa com sangue nos olhos, pressionando a equipe do Londrina. Assim, já foi possível ver a diferença da equipe no comando do novo técnico Alberto Valentim. Com 10′, Dragão chegou na área e trocou passes entre os adversários, Airton bateu no gol, mas bola rebateu no goleiro. No final do 1º tempo era possível apenas ver o Londrina na área e todo o time do Atlético-GO atrás da linha de campo. Assim, com 49′, Salomão finalizou e Ronaldo tirou a bola de qualquer jeito e deixou o gol livre, mas para a sorte do Rubro-negro não tinha nenhum jogador do Tubarão para empatar. Aos 52′, Londrina assustou o Dragão, Diego Jardel bateu no gol, mas bola rasteira passou raspando na trave.
2º Tempo
O ritmo do 1º tempo não voltou aos gramados na 2ª etapa. Por outro lado, a partida continuou como estava nos minutos finais antes do intervalo. Assim, o Londrina persistiu no ataque e o Atlético-GO ajudou o adversário, com a defesa cheia de falhas e desorganização da equipe.
Aos 4′, Ronaldo sentiu após pular para pegar a bola e jogador do Tubarão cair em cima da perna esquerda do goleiro. Com 7′, Matheus Lucas mandou bola perigosa cruzada, mas saiu pela linha de fundo. Logo em seguida, aos 9′, Matheus Lucas novamente chegou, mas Ronaldo fez bela defesa e impediu o empate.
Pela primeira vez no 2º tempo, Atlético-GO criou a melhor oportunidade, com 26′. Assim, em furo na defesa, Matheus Régis recebeu a bola, tirou o goleiro da jogada, mas bateu fraco para o gol e zaga do Londrina conseguiu chegar a tempo para tirar. Logo em seguida, Hugo Cabral fez belo chute de voleio na área mas não acertou o gol.
Dragão aumentou o placar após sofrer ataques do Tubarão. Assim, com 29′, Rodrigo Soares recebeu a bola, limpou a marcação da defesa e bateu de fora da área fazendo um golaço no Londrina. Por outro lado, Tubarão insiste em ganhar pelo menos um ponto e contra-ataca. Hugo Cabral tentou marcar de cabeça, Ronaldo pega a bola, que escapa das suas mãos, mas consegue recuperar antes que o adversário finalize. Londrina pressionou na reta final, assusta o adversário, mas não consegue empatar a partida.
