Após atuação no futebol goiano pelo Atlético-GO, Rickson chega ao Vila Nova oficialmente nesta segunda-feira (26), quando foi anunciado em coletiva. O volante destaca estar com boa expectativa para a atuação pela camisa colorada e disse que a torcida vilanovense “contagia”. Além disso, destaca ser uma vontade antiga atuar pelo clube por conta dos torcedores.
Logo depois, ainda na coletiva, o jogador confirma preferir atuar como volante, mas disse estar disposto a atuar na posição que o técnico Claudinei Oliveira destinar a ele.

Goleiros e disputa pela titularidade
O mais novo entre os três goleiros anunciados, Vitor Hugo passou pela base do Internacional, em Porto Alegre, até ser emprestado ao Figueirense para ganhar minutagem na categoria profissional. Natural de Goiânia, o goleiro disse ser a atuação no futebol goiano um dos motivos da vinda para o Vila.
Vitor destaca também a possibilidade de disputa pelo nome titular na posição, já que o Tigre começa o ano sem goleiro definido. Assim, caracteriza como vantajoso para os três nomes que chegam ao clube (Vanderlei, Dênis Júnior e Vitor).
Sobre os objetivos com a camisa colorada, o goleiro de 21 anos do Vila Nova disse esperar que seja feito um ótimo Campeonato Goiano e que a boa campanha seja seguida na Série B.
