Preparação do Vila Nova para 2024! Frontini afirma que o clube confia no trabalho do técnico Higo Magalhães: “vai nos levar ao título do Campeonato Goiano”
A saber, o treinador comandou a equipe por cinco partidas no final da Série B de 2023
O diretor de futebol do Vila Nova, Carlos Frontini, conversou com a imprensa após a apresentação dos jogadores Fernandão e João Vitor, na tarde da última sexta-feira (29). Na ocasião, ele afirmou que o Tigrão ainda busca mais um zagueiro no mercado, além de Anderson Conceição e Matheus Cabral que já assinaram com o Colorado. A princípio, Frontini comentou sobre a construção do elenco para 2024:
“A gente está repondo algumas peças. […] A gente não se apega muito a idade, e sim à performance do atleta. Mas é lógico que a juventude faz parte, como experiência também faz parte.
A gente está procurando atletas comprometidos e que estejam ainda com o espírito de conquistar coisas no futebol. E a gente enxerga isso nesses atletas. A gente conta com todos. Eu tô sentindo uma energia muito boa nos atletas que chegaram, e nos que ficaram”.
Em seguida, ele comentou sobre o mercado da bola:
” A gente acabou perdendo alguns atletas importantes, porque a gente não conseguiu competir com o mercado. E faz parte, a gente tem que respeitar a saúde financeira do clube.
Eu acho que esse é o caminho, mas a gente precisa virar a chave. Realmente no campeonato estadual do ano passado a gente fracassou, e a gente precisa entender isso. E para o clube, eu acho que é obrigação, principalmente, conquistar, pelo menos, a vaga na Copa do Brasil. Nos faz muita falta esse dinheiro hoje, e […] a visibilidade, principalmente, para poder conseguir um orçamento melhor, e competir um pouco mais com os outros clubes.
[Além disso,] os jogadores da Série B, eles acabam oscilando muito, essa é a grande verdade. E a gente tem que estar atento ao mercado para pegar o grande atleta com saúde e no momento de irregularidade”.
Já sobre a possibilidade de chegar mais reforços no Vila Nova, Frontini afirmou:
“Possivelmente mais um, no máximo dois reforços, mais pontuais, alguma oportunidade de mercado que a gente entenda que possa nos ajudar. Possivelmente mais um zagueiro, que é normal, nós perdemos os dois zagueiros. Apesar de ter chegado o Matheus do Botafogo, eu acredito que possa chegar mais um. E aí a gente está pronto para começar o estadual.
A gente precisa também analisar a Copa São Paulo [Copinha]. Nós temos grandes jogadores, temos o Filipe, que das últimas quatro competições, foi artilheiro de três. Nós temos o Kayk que está recuperado, o Rian que já fazia parte do profissional, e o Rafael“.
Higo Magalhães permanece no comando do Vila Nova para 2024. Sobre isso, o diretor de futebol comentou:
“O 1º critério foi a competência, e a gente enxerga no Higo o treinador que vai nos levar ao título do Campeonato Goiano. Enquanto a gente estiver enxergando isso nele, ele vai continuar aqui com a confiança de todo clube.
É um treinador criado dentro do clube, que já foi atleta, conhece os corredores e isso é fundamental. Conhece a torcida, sabe quando a torcida está satisfeita e quando esta insatisfeita. […] Mas enquanto ele estiver trabalhando, […] vencendo coerente, e tiver tendo resultado, eu acho que não tem porque a gente trocar ele.
Ele assumiu no momento muito crítico e quase nos levou ao acesso. […] É um treinador muito competente e eu acredito que daqui uns anos vai estar, possivelmente, na Série A, e quem sabe com a gente”.
Por fim, ele comentou sobre a derrota, na última rodada da Série B de 2023, que custou o acesso:
“Não tem como continuar o mesmo, eu posso falar que a gente está mais forte. A gente aprendeu que se a gente continuar a mesma coisa, nós vamos continuar cometendo os mesmos erros. Então, a gente está mais forte cada vez mais unidos. Essa ferida ainda tá aberta, principalmente, com quem gosta do que faz. A gente vai continuar caminhando, vai continuar crescendo. […] A gente precisa aprender com os erros e continuar caminhando”.
