No jogo de ida da semifinal do Brasileiro de Aspirantes 2022, o Vila Nova recebe o Bragantino, nesta sexta-feira (9), às 15h (horário de Brasília), no OBA. Em sua segunda semifinal na história, o Colorado busca chegar à grande final da competição, que está marcada para o dia 25 de setembro. Em 2020, o Tigrão chegou na decisão, mas acabou sendo derrotado nos pênaltis pelo Ceará. Nesta edição, o plantel se classificou na 2ª posição do Grupo A e desbancou o Grêmio nas quartas de finais.
Ao repórter Paulo Massad, das Feras do Esporte, Raphael Miranda falou da pretensão do Vila Nova chegar a sua segunda final do Brasileiro de Aspirantes. Ainda assim, o treinador destacou o trabalho coletivo do plantel no decorrer do campeonato:
“A pretensão de ser campeão, acho que todas as competições que entramos a nossa equipe entra para ser campeã. Nós sabemos do histórico de ter chegado na final em sua primeira participação. Seria muito audacioso achar que seria fácil chegar na final novamente. Nós trabalhamos muito para isso.
O nosso ponto forte, hoje, é o coletivo, pois todos os atletas compraram a ideia. Nós destacamos nossa defesa, que em oito jogos não levou gol em cinco e foi vazada apenas em três. Além disso, vencemos cinco partidas, dois jogos e apenas uma derrota, onde nossa equipe foi mais desfalcada“, destacou.
Doma projeta semifinal do Vila Nova
Auxiliando o Sub-23, Doma projetou o confronto na semifinal diante do Bragantino. Além disso, o zagueiro comentou sobre o objetivo do elenco em chegar na decisão e a ambição pelo título:
“A gente definiu uma meta de chegar na final. Nós falamos entre nós que é possível ser campeão, porque nosso time é bem coeso, compacto e todos jogadores em suas posições são muito competitivos. Então, vimos no último jogo contra o Grêmio, que é possível sim. Três jogos apenas, então não vejo como pressão é mais objetivo mesmo“, disse o zagueiro.

Na outra semifinal, o Fluminense venceu o Cuiabá, por 2 x 1, no Estádio Luso-Brasileiro, nesta quinta-feira (8). O jogo da volta acontece na próxima quinta-feira (15), às 20h. Por sua vez, o Vila Nova decide a vaga para a final fora de casa, também na quinta-feira (15), mas às 18h30 (todos no horário de Brasília).
