A partir disso, segundo informações do repórter André Rodrigues, das Feras do Esporte, o técnico Guto Ferreira convocou Matheus Peixoto, que poderá estrear com a camisa do Verdão. Nesta terça-feira (4), o Goiás fará sua estreia nesta edição da Sul-Americana em confronto diante do Independiente Santa Fe, da Colômbia.

“ Primeiramente, gostaria de dizer que estou muito feliz e motivado. Passei por um momento difícil no ano passado. Com isso, estou vindo com muita vontade de voltar a jogar e mostrar meu potencial. Para quem não me conhece, sou um jogador de muita força, atacante fazedor de gols.

“ Atacante vive de gol. Portanto, meu primeiro objetivo principal é marcar gols. Venho com uma vontade muito grande de mostrar meu potencial. Meu objetivo pelo clube é conquistar títulos. Neste ano, temos grande chances de levantar troféus. A gente vem bem no Campeonato Goiano.

Trajetória de Matheus Peixoto
O jogador tem passagens por RB Bragantino, Ponte Preta, Juventude e, mais recentemente, estava emprestado ao Ceará pelo Metalist Kharkiv, da Ucrânia. O atacante, no entanto, não teve uma boa passagem pelo clube cearense.
