Apesar do resultado, técnico afirma que Dragão está vivo em busca do acesso
Vindo de um empate no confronto direto contra o Novorizontino, nesta quarta-feira (1), o Atlético-GO se manteve no G4, mas ficou em alerta. Em entrevista coletiva concedida pós-jogo, Jair Ventura comentou a postura defensiva do adversário, que dificultou a estratégia do Rubro-Negro em campo. Além disso, o técnico elogiou a performance do grupo atleticano, esteve melhor na partida durante boa parte dos 90 minutos e levou muito perigo ao adversário.

“ Não conseguimos nossa vitória que queríamos tanto para ficarmos em uma situação mais tranquila, mas ainda estamos vivíssimos. Vai ser com mais emoção, é verdade, e eu vou ter que envelhecer mais uns anos, mas estamos vivos. Seguramos um adversário que veio para o empate, vieram segurando o tem todo, Jordi fazendo cera desde o primeiro minuto, o lateral deles demorando a bater, mas faz parte do jogo.
É a estratégia deles, tem que respeitar. Não posso reclamar dos meus atletas quanto a performance. Foram inúmeras chances de gol, mas não conseguimos. Agora é buscar a vitória fora como já fizemos e conseguir dar esse passo importante para o nosso acesso. “
