Esmeraldino estreia fora de casa
Na tarde desta quarta-feira (8), a Confederação Brasileira de Futebol (CBF) realizou o sorteio dos confrontos da 1ª fase da Copa do Brasil. A partir disso, o Goiás conheceu seu adversários na estreia do torneio. Confira tudo com as Feras do Esporte!
O Goiás (pote A) enfrenta o ASA (AL), do pote E. Por fim, os alagoanos serão os mandantes. Nesta 1ª fase, os duelos serão disputados em jogo único e com o mando de campo do time em posicionamento inferior no Ranking Nacional dos Clubes. O Esmeraldino, por sua vez, tem a vantagem do empate. Sendo assim, caso a partida termine com o placar em igualdade, os goianos se classificam para a próxima fase.
Em seguida, Flamengo, Palmeiras, Internacional, Fluminense, Corinthians, Athletico-PR, Atlético-MG, Fortaleza, Sport, Paysandu, Cruzeiro e São Paulo entrarão na 3ª fase. A saber, a Copa do Brasil deste ano terá premiação recorde: ao todo, a CBF distribuirá R$ 420 milhões entre os participantes do torneio. Por fim, os duelos da 1ª fase serão realizados entre os dias 22 de fevereiro e 1º de março.

Assim, às 19h30 (horário de Brasília), o Verdão encara o Goianésia, no Estádio Hailé Pinheiro, em Goiânia. Em seguida, também pelo torneio estadual, o Goiás recebe o Goiânia, no domingo (12), às 10h.
