A partida teve início movimentado. Aos 6′, o goleiro Gabriel, do Tigre, espalmou e conseguiu tirar uma bola perigosa do Mauaense. Com algumas faltas iniciais, a partir da primeira chegada, os donos da casa pressionaram e manteram domínio ofensivo até os 19 minutos. Logo depois, o Vila consegue chegar ao gol em jogada de escanteio, mas é barrado pelo goleiro Kawê.

Após os 20 minutos iniciais, três alterações coloradas são feitas: Guilherme Pires (9) é substituído por João Bom (19); Rafael (5) por Fábio da Silva (15); e Wilha (11) para a entrada de Kaian (17). Aos 31′, dois amarelos são distribuídos em seguida: Luizinho, do Mauaense; e Felipe Vieira, do Vila Nova.
Por fim, aos 34′ o Colorado abre o placar. De cabeça, Kaian recebeu pela direita e mandou para o fundo da rede – 1×0. Com mais amarelo, dessa vez Rian, do Tigre, também é punido. Após mais faltas, Felipe Vieira sai lesionado aos 41′ para a entrada de Henrique, camisa 13. Nos últimos minutos, Luizinho marca para o Mauaense e empata o jogo, que termina em 1 x 1.
