Em 16 jogos no comando da Aparecidense, o treinador teve oito vitórias, três empates e cinco derrotas
A semana já começa com notícia boa para o torcedor do Camaleão. Nesta terça-feira (11), o repórter André Rodrigues, das Feras do Esporte, trouxe, com exclusividade, a informação de que a Aparecidense renovou o vínculo do técnico Moacir Júnior. Em resumo, o comandante foi um dos principais responsáveis pela melhora do desempenho da equipe de Aparecida.
Com isso, a Aparecidense contará com Moacir Júnior para a disputa do Campeonato Goiano e também da Série C do ano que vem. Em conversa com as Feras do Esporte, Elvis Mendes, presidente do Camaleão, falou sobre a permanência do comandante e exaltou o trabalho que vem feito pelo treinador.

“Foi um renovação, até certo ponto tranquila, porque havia o interesse de ambas as partes. O Moacir tem feito um excelente trabalho. Chegou em um momento complicado da equipe na Série C e conseguiu elevar nosso grupo, trazer vitória. Com isso, na primeira Série C da história da Aparecidense, chegamos à última rodada da segunda fase com chances de acesso. Sendo assim, o trabalho do Moacir Júnior precisa ser exaltado. Por fim, o técnico nos deu preferência e decidiu ficar.”
Campanha da Aparecidense na Série C de 2022
Em novembro de 2021, o Camaleão conquistou o título do Campeonato Brasileiro da Série D. Com isso, a equipe se classificou para a terceira divisão do futebol nacional. Já em 2022, na fase inicial da Série C, em 19 jogos, os goianos venceram oito, perderam cinco e empataram seis. Além disso, tiveram saldo positivo de cinco gols. Sendo assim, a Cidinha terminou na 8ª colocação e se classificou para o quadrangular final.
Ainda na fase inicial, fora de casa, a Aparecidense estreou com vitória sobre o Ypiranga, do Rio Grande do Sul, por 2 x 0, no dia 24 de abril. Em seguida, ficou cinco rodadas sem vitória, sendo três derrotas e dois empates. Na 7ª rodada, entretanto, com gol nos minutos finais em duelo bastante disputado, o Camaleão voltou a vencer, derrotando o Floresta, do Ceará, por 3 x 2.
Após duas partidas (uma derrota e um empate), a direção do clube goiano comunicou a saída do técnico Eduardo Souza. Com isso, acertou a contratação de Moacir Júnior, ex-treinador do ABC de Natal. Logo em sua estreia no comando da Cidinha, venceu o Botafogo-SP por 2 x 0. Em seguida, foram mais dois triunfos, o que ajudou o time a sonhar com uma vaga na próxima fase da competição.
Em resumo, na 1ª fase, a Aparecidense sob o comando de Moacir Júnior conquistou seis vitórias, além de dois empates e duas derrotas. Dessa forma, os goianos foram para o quadrangular depois de ficar com a última vaga, terminando a fase inicial na 8ª colocação, com 29 pontos.
Por fim, no quadrangular final, com jogos de ida e volta, foram duas vitórias, um empate e três derrotas. Mesmo não conseguindo a tão sonhada vaga para a Série B de 2023, o Camaleão fez uma temporada sólida, principalmente após a chegada do técnico Moacir Júnior. Além disso, Alex Henrique, atacante da equipe goiana, foi o artilheiro do campeonato com 12 gols marcados.
