Após uma grave lesão que impediu sua estreia pelo Dragão, Igor Ribeiro finalmente entrou em campo pela Série B. A saber, o jogador, que chegou ao clube em dezembro do ano passado, passou por uma cirurgia após romper o ligamento do joelho esquerdo e vinha se recuperando desde janeiro.
Após renovar o contrato com o Rubro-Negro até o fim de 2025, o jogador de apenas 22 anos contou como foi seu período de recuperação. Dessa maneira, Igor elogiou o trabalho do DM do Atlético-GO e demonstrou gratidão à toda a equipe.
