Na última rodada do 1º turno, o Vila Nova empatou sem gols com o Sport, na Ilha do Retiro. Assim, o Tigre segue na lanterna da competição, com 14 pontos. No jogo desta segunda-feira (18), o Colorado fez uma boa defensiva, enquanto o setor ofensivo teve baixa produtividade e não levou perigo à área adversária. O treinador Allan Aal destacou a evolução do plantel na defesa diante da equipe pernambucana:
“Temos que evoluir, dar o próximo passo para nosso setor ofensivo. Futebol é feito de etapas para consolidação de algo que pode mudar o panorama da competição. A primeira etapa fizemos bem. Agora temos que melhorar os próximos pontos. A organização defensiva, finalizações e agressividade no último terço, que vamos trabalhar nesta semana”, disse.
Em seguida, o treinador ressaltou a importância do ponto conquistado diante de um adversário que está brigando no G4. Ainda assim, destacou a busca para uma variação e uma mobilidade na construção do Tigre para ser mais ofensivo:
“Temos que ter a humildade de saber que tem jogos que vamos valorizar um ponto e tem jogos que você tem que lamentar o empate, ou até mesmo a derrota, como foi contra o CSA. Nós tivemos essa leitura da competição. O Sport está brigando por G-4 e é muito forte em casa. Tivemos a humildade de montar uma estratégia defensiva. Não só para esse jogo, mas para o decorrer da competição. Precisávamos arrumar a nossa cozinha. Agora vamos procurar ter uma variação e uma mobilidade maior na construção para municiar os jogadores lá na frente“, destacou.

“Precisávamos de uma intensidade e de uma mobilidade maiores. Trabalhamos com três jogadores de muita velocidade. O Riquelme é um atacante de mobilidade e que gosta de agredir o espaço. Romário tem muita força física e que tem personalidade para jogar, mesmo sendo jovem. A tendência é que evoluam, independentemente de começarem ou não a próxima partida. Mas hoje precisávamos dessa vitalidade“, analisou.

Na abertura do 2º turno, o Vila Nova recebe o Vasco, no sábado (23), às 16h30, no Serra Dourada. Após isso, o Tigre visita o Novorizontino, no sábado (30), às 18h30 (todos no horário de Brasília), no Estadio Jorjão.
