Nesta quarta-feira (31), o #MadeInOBA Fernando Reges foi campeão da Liga Europa pelo Sevilla. A saber, o jogador é de Alto Paraíso de Goiás e segue carreira internacional há 16 anos, quando foi atuar no Porto, clube português. Revelado pela base colorada, ainda pelo Vila Nova foi campeão goiano em 2005 e atua no Sevilla desde 2019.

A saber, o clube espanhol venceu a final contra a Roma nos pênaltis. A partida terminou em 1 x 1 no tempo normal e, nas penalidades, o resultado foi 4 x 1 para o Sevilla. Assim, o clube conquistou sua sétima Liga Europa – a terceira do ex-Vila Fernando Reges, que levantou o troféu nas temporadas 19/20 e 22/23 pelo Sevilla e, anteriormente, na temporada 10/11, pelo Porto.

Trajetória até a Liga Europa
Revelado no Tigre, o jogador começou a carreira internacional no Porto, de Portugal. De lá, partiu para o Estrela Amadora por empréstimo, até retornar ao Porto e conquistar a primeira Liga. Dessa forma, somados, conquistou quatro edições do Campeonato Português, cinco da Supertaça de Portugal e três da Taça de Portugal.
Na sequência, foi negociado pelo Manchester City e atuou em 33 jogos, com dois gols e duas assistências. Ele também passou pela Turquia, no Galatasaray, e chegou ao Sevilla. Com isso, a joia da base do Vila conquistou a primeira Europa League pelo espanhol na temporada 2019/20 e, neste ano, o segundo título – terceiro na carreira.
