Encerrando a preparação para enfrentar o Goiatuba, em duelo que acontece nesta quinta-feira (15), o Dragão realizou um último treino na tarde desta quarta-feira (14). Antes disso, o lateral-direito Bruno Tubarão, que retorna ao time após lesão muscular na coxa, falou com a imprensa. A saber, na rodada passada, Maguinho levou seu terceiro cartão amarelo e, com isso, desfalca o Atlético-GO.

“ Muito feliz por estar retornando. Quero agradecer a todo o departamento médico, os fisioterapeutas e os preparadores físicos do clube, que fizeram um bom trabalho. E é o Atlético-GO que ganha com a disputa entre mim e o Maguinho por uma vaga na lateral-direita. […] Foi um período de muito trabalho físico, intenso, primeiramente com a parte da fisioterapia de manhã e de tarde, além da parte física. Estou me sentindo bem, já que consegui manter a minha parte física.
Agora, quero ajudar a equipe a dar continuidade à sequência de vitórias para o Atlético-GO conseguir a classificação para as fases finais do campeonato. […] A gente tem que estar preparado [para a sequência da temporada]. Sabemos que é um jogo atrás do outro. Portanto, a parte física precisa estar bem alinhada. Além disso, todo o grupo tem que estar ligado, porque, como é um jogo atrás do outro, às vezes vai ter jogo que vai precisar de todo o elenco. Com isso, eu me vejo muito bem fisicamente para a sequência.”

“ É importante a gente fazer nosso dever de casa diante do Goiatuba e se impor. Somos uma equipe muito forte dentro de casa e, com isso, precisamos vencer. […] Sabemos que não tem jogo fácil. Queremos manter essa sequência de vitórias que a gente vem tendo. Além disso, o Goiatuba está próximo do Atlético-GO na tabela.
Portanto, não podemos dar mole. […] A expectativa para a Copa do Brasil é muito boa. No entanto, primeiramente, a gente tem que focar nos dois jogos que temos pelo Campeonato Goiano antes da partida da Copa do Brasil. De toda forma, a expectativa é muito boa para fazer bons jogos, de buscar ir bem longe na competição, porque no ano passado a gente acabou saindo na 2ª fase.”

“ O importante é estar ajudando o Atlético, independente se é no ataque, na lateral ou no meio. Como eu fiz uma temporada toda, em 2023, jogando muitas partidas como lateral, portanto, estou mais adaptado na lateral. De toda forma se precisarem de mim em outra função no decorrer da partida, eu posso fazer, sem problema nenhum.”
