11 novos jogadores são anunciados para a temporada!
Com o início do Campeonato Goiano em janeiro, o Vila Nova estreia dia 12 contra o Goiânia, no OBA. O vice-presidente do clube, em entrevista às Feras do esporte, destacou que a perspectiva da direção é de ter um time “muito competitivo”. Assim, o Colorado se manteve em grande movimentação no mercado da bola e já garantiu 11 novos reforços. A saber, a apresentação para a pré-temporada será dia 19, na próxima segunda-feira. Confira as datas dos confrontos!
Para a próxima temporada, o Vila conta com novos três goleiros (Vanderlei, Dênis Júnior, Vitor Hugo), dois laterais (Marcelinho, lateral direito, e Diego Renan, lateral direito e esquerdo). Além desses, os atacantes Vinícius Leite, Hyuri, Wendson e Yago; o zagueiro Carlos Alexandre e o volante Rickson.

Segundo a tabela oficial do campeonato, o Tigre estreia dia 12 de janeiro, quinta-feira, no OBA, contra o Goiânia. Logo depois, pela segunda rodada, dia 15, domingo, no estádio Jonas Duarte, contra o Anápolis.

- 22/01 – domingo: Vila Nova x Atlético-GO / Estádio Onésio Brasileiro Alvarenga

Trajetória colorada no Campeonato Goiano
O Vila Nova é o terceiro time com mais títulos de Campeonato Goiano, com 15 edições. Dessa forma, na temporada de 2023, o Tigre parte em busca de mais um, agora com o novo comando do técnico Claudinei Oliveira. Apesar dos 17 anos sem um novo título – o último foi em 2005 -, o time é o terceiro maior campeão do torneio, atrás do Atlético-GO. Contudo, em 2023, o Colorado tem a chance de igualar o Rubro-negro, que possui 16 títulos e é, hoje, o atual campeão.
Em 2022, o Vila garantiu em boa campanha a semifinal pela disputa estadual, em confronto contra o Atlético-GO. Pela ida, o Dragão levou a melhor por 3 x 2; na volta, houve empate. Dessa forma, o resultado, porém, favoreceu o time de campinas, eliminando o Vila Nova.
