Prefeitura planeja o esporte em 2022.
A Prefeitura de Goiânia com o Prefeito Rogério Cruz anunciou o investimento de 800 mil reais para 300 atletas em competições de 2022.
Dessa maneira, também foi anunciado o calendário de competições em Goiânia: Taça das Favelas, Copa Goiânia E-Sports, Copa Master de Futebol, Meia Maratona Internacional de Goiás e mais competições.

O Secretário Municipal de Esportes, Álvaro Alexandre declarou: “Será um ano importante para o esporte em Goiânia. Vamos colocar a capital em destaque no cenário nacional”.
O Prefeito Rogério Cruz também falou: “Programas apresentados nesta retomada nos motivam porque sabemos que o esporte é necessário na vida de qualquer cidadão. A Prefeitura de Goiânia aposta na iniciação nas modalidades em parques. Queremos motivar crianças, jovens, adultos e idosos. Nossa missão é fomentar os sonhos de quem acredita nesta prática, com ênfase na inclusão e no apoio a esportistas de alto rendimento de nossa capital”.
