Além do jogador, o clube rescindiu contrato em comum acordo, com o zagueiro Sidnei. O clube ainda não se pronunciou sobre o motivo da saída do atleta.

Trajetória de Elvis
Contratado em Abril de 2021, Elvis estreou no Campeonato Goiano contra o Atlético-GO. Na sequência, foi peça fundamental na conquista do acesso para a Série A. A saber, a sua última partida ocorreu diante do América-MG no último domingo (3), onde acabou sendo substituído no intervalo da partida. Ao todo, o meia disputou 67 partidas e marcou 10 gols, além de ter dado 19 assistências.
Na atual temporada, Elvis atuou em 29 partidas, marcou seis gols e deu oito assistências. Além do Goiás, o meia teve passagem pelo Cuiabá, CRB, Oeste, Criciúma, RB Brasil, Figueirense, Tombense, América-MG, Atlético-GO, Botafogo e Paraná. A saber, em sua carreira internacional, o jogador atuou no UD Leiria e no Benfica B, em Portugal.
