Equipes sub-20 se preparam para o torneio, que promete muito no próximo ano
A 54ª edição da Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior, a Copinha, acontecerá em 2024 e já tem os detalhes definidos. Nesta quarta-feira (22), a Federação Paulista – responsável pela organização do torneio – divulgou as datas e chaveamento da mais importante e tradicional competição de bases do Brasil.
Marcado para começar logo no dia 2 de janeiro e terminar no dia 25 do mesmo mês, o campeonato contará com 128 times participantes divididas em 32 grupos. Em resumo, em cada um desses grupos, quatro equipes se enfrentam em um único turno e as duas melhores avançam para a segunda fase. Na sequência, o mata-mata inicia e se estende até a final em jogo único.
A saber, quatro equipes goianas representarão o estado na disputa do próximo ano: Atlético-GO, Goiás, Trindade e Vila Nova. Conhecidos por revelarem jogadores importantes e com tradição na história da competição, os clubes sempre entram na disputa pelo título. Inclusive, o Esmeraldino fez sua melhor campanha em 2013, chegando na final. Porém, o Verdinho acabou perdendo para o Santos e ficou com o vice.

Desse modo, a competição é responsável por abrir o calendário do futebol brasileiro, já que sempre tem início no primeiro mês de cada ano. Assim, você acompanha tudo com as Feras do Esporte.
