Após encarar o Novorizontino nesta quarta-feira (1), o Dragão tem pela frente o Sport (fora), Mirassol (fora) e Guarani (em casa). Ocupando atualmente a 3ª colocação na classificação, o clube goiano vai em busca dos 12 pontos para se firmar cada vez no G4.

Quando questionado sobre a sequência de jogos do Rubro-Negro durante entrevista coletiva concedida durante a semana, Rodrigo Soares revelou sua preferência. Para o lateral, atuar contra adversários da segunda metade da tabela é mais desafiador do que um confronto direto pelo G4. Assim, na opinião do jogador, a responsabilidade de conquistar os três pontos é dividida entre as equipes, o que aumenta a disputa.
“ Para ser sincero eu acho até bom esses jogos, porque eles fazem com que naturalmente você esteja muito mais concentrado e motivado. As responsabilidades acabam sendo mais divididas também, o que não acontece quando você pega os times de baixo. A atenção é muito maior porque a responsabilidade é toda nossa de vencer. Obviamente, temos respeito pelas equipes, mas sabemos que estamos lutando por algo grande, então temos que ganhar.
[…] Por isso, nesses jogos de confronto direto, além de matar o adversário e conseguir ganhar vantagem em cima dele, são partidas com responsabilidade dividida pois a outra equipe também tem atenção e um objetivo. Isso acaba sendo bom para nós, que vamos duelar de igual para igual. Então, na minha opinião isso é até melhor. Além disso, temos nos mostrado fortes nesses confrontos e com certeza vamos mostrar nossa melhor versão nestes últimos jogos. “
