Presidente da Aparecidense comemora classificação para próxima rodada da Série C e exalta trabalho de Moacir Júnior: “soube tirar algo a mais dos jogadores”
Agora, em busca de uma vaga na Série B de 2023, o Camaleão vai enfrentar, em jogos de ida e volta, Mirassol, Volta Redonda e Botafogo-SP
No sábado (13), em jogo decisivo pela Série C, o Camaleão recebeu o Botafogo-PB e venceu por 1 x 0, com gol de Alex Henrique. Com isso, o time goiano se classificou para a próxima fase do torneio, que conta com outras sete equipes divididas em dois grupos. Comemorando o feito, Elvis Mendes, presidente da Aparecidense, falou de forma exclusiva com as Feras do Esporte, da BandNews.
“Tivemos dois gols anulados, mas eu não vi ainda se havia ou não impedimento. De toda forma, o Alex Henrique fez o gol válido. Antes do início da partida, eu falava para ele: ‘você vai fazer o gol e vai ser o artilheiro do campeonato’. E aconteceu o que eu disse. Todos os atletas jogaram muita bola. Inclusive, tivemos chance de matar o jogo, fazer 2 x 0 e até 3 x 0. No entanto, o importante é que veio a classificação. Caímos num grupo forte na próxima fase, mas não tem como ser diferente. É uma Série C muito forte.
Sendo assim, fico muito feliz, porque a Aparecidense, no início, aqui muito não se falava em se manter, em manutenção na Série C ou que a Aparecidense ia cair por ser nosso primeiro ano na Série C. Contudo, a minha cobrança internamente sempre foi muito grande. Assim, eu falava para eles que não tínhamos que ficar falando que nos classificaríamos ou que subiríamos. Porém, eu aqui dentro não queria saber só de manutenção. Eu quero algo mais para a Aparecidense. Prova disso é que, no decorrer do campeonato, a gente fez algumas contratações para reforçar o elenco. E, com isso, fomos agraciados com mais essa essa vitória.”

“Em resumo, nós não prometemos muita coisa. No entanto, o que a gente promete, a gente cumpre. Isso dentro do futebol é raro. Inclusive, muitos jogadores não estão muito acostumados com isso. Portanto, temos um relacionamento muito estreito com todos os atletas. Sempre acompanho os treinamentos. Dessa forma, os jogadores compram a ideia e confiam muito no trabalho, e isso vem sendo mostrado dentro de campo. Fora das quatro linhas, tentamos dar toda estrutura, organização de viagem, estrutura de acomodações. A saber, realmente fazemos viagem nível até de Série B, às vezes até de Série A, dando todas as condições de trabalho para esse grupo. Em resposta, eles têm demonstrado dentro de campo que isso tem dado certo.”

“Essa mudança de patamar da Aparecidense passou pela troca do treinador. Realmente, naquele momento, não estávamos felizes com trabalho. A partir disso, veio a saída do técnico Eduardo Souza. Depois, eu falei muito com o Elias e com o João Victor que não poderíamos errar. Portanto, o nome que me veio foi, primeiramente, o do Moacir Júnior. Eu já conhecia o trabalho dele e até tinha o enfrentando quando ele comandava o ABC na semifinal da Série D.
A partir disso, mandei procurá-lo, a resposta foi positiva. Realmente, o Moacir vem fazendo um grande trabalho. Ele e todo o grupo de atletas estão de parabéns. […] O trabalho do técnico foi preponderante, porque ele realmente soube mexer com o grupo, soube tirar algo a mais dos jogadores. […] Atualmente, entre os times do G8, a Aparecidense é o time que tem o menor orçamento. Ainda assim, deixamos para trás times como o Remo, que tem 2,5 vezes a nossa folha. Portanto, o problema aqui é que eu não posso errar nem trazer jogador caro”, explicou o presidente da Aparecidense.
