Em resposta aos questionamentos, o atual campeão e artilheiro da Copa Verde revelou o desejo de vencer a competição novamente este ano. Ex-atuante pelo Clube do Remo, Neto Pessoa venceu o Vila Nova na final da Copa Verde no ano passado. Hoje, o atacante é uma das principais peças do time colorado e vem fazendo boas atuações pela equipe. Autor do gol contra o Bahia, que selou a permanência do Tigre na Série B, o jogador relatou a vontade de vencer o campeonato regional novamente neste ano.
“Quem foi campeão quer ser bi. A gente sempre sonha em conquistar algo mais, sonha também ser artilheiro da competição, isso é muito importante, um prêmio individual. Mas, eu creio que é uma chance de coroar o ano, terminar o ano com um título para premiar a torcida. Eu vejo na Copa Verde uma grande oportunidade.” relatou o atleta.
Neto Pessoa fala sobre renovação com Vila Nova
Como dito anteriormente, o atacante de 28 anos é uma das peças de grande importância do elenco comandado por Allan Aal. O atleta chegou ao Vila na última janela de transferências e anotou 6 gols nas 14 partidas que vestiu a camisa colorada.
Questionado pelo repórter Paulo Massad, das Feras do Esporte, Neto Pessoa revelou desejo de continuar atuando pelo clube para a próxima temporada. O atleta diz que está esperando o resultado da Copa Verde para discutir com a diretoria a possibilidade da permanência.
“Eu tenho o desejo de ficar na equipe, de fazer uma grande temporada ano que vem. Creio que já estou bem ambientado ao clube e à cidade. Desejo da minha parte tem muito grande, sei que tenho que abrir mão de algumas coisas, entendo a realidade do clube. Mas é algo que a gente vai conversar no fim da temporada. Acho que a diretoria está focada nesta competição da Copa Verde. Então, acho que agora é unir forças e concentração total na competição” afirmou o atacante.
